Richard S. Vensky, 79, died on Tuesday, August 28th, 2007 at Heritage Hill in Weatherly, Pennsylvania where he had been a guest.
He was a former resident of Galax, Virginia, New Jersey, and New York.
Born in New York City, New York on December 29th, 1927, he was the son of the late John and Millie (nee Lewis) Sevensky.
Richard served in the US Navy during World War II.
Prior to retirement, he worked as a machinist at Dynapac in New Jersey.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary (nee Davids) Vensky.
Surviving are daughters Nancy Smith of Flanders, NJ and Kathleen Edsall of Pennsylvania; sons Richard Sevensky of Wharton, NJ, Walter Sevensky of Great Meadows, NJ, and Tom and Michael Farrell of New Jersey; and brother John Sevensky of Sebastian, FL. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
A Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be in Peacedale Cemetery, Highland Falls, New York.
Richard L. Gimbi, 70, of Weatherly, died at the Hazleton General Hospital on Friday, August 24th, 2007.
Born in White Haven on March 20th, 1937, he was the son of the late James O. "Jiggs" and Betty (nee Earnhart) Gimbi.
Richard was a member of Zions Evangelical Lutheran Church in Weatherly.
Richard worked as a mechanic at both the Weatherly and Hazleton Tung-Sol plants. He was an agent for American General Insurance and also worked in sales at Sears Roebuck and Walker Carpet in Hazleton. A former Cub Scout leader in Weatherly, he also coached Little League and was a member of the Weatherly High Booster Club.
He is survived by sons Craig Gimbi of Weatherly and James Gimbi of Hazleton; daughter Christa and her husband Dean Podgers of Weatherly; brother Ronald and his wife Janice of White Haven; sister Ethel Sue and her husband Donald Weston of Weatherly; and grandsons Mason and Owen Podgers. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Services will be held on Monday, August 27th, 2007, at 8:00 PM at the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First Street, Weatherly, PA. Viewing will be from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Ruth E. Seibel, 88, of Weatherly, Pennsylvania, died on Saturday, July 7th, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. A Memorial Service was held at Zions Evangelical Lutheran Church in Weatherly on Saturday, August 4th, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Interment was in Union Cemetery, Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
George W. Lewis, 80, formerly of Okeechobee, Florida, and who currently resided in Weatherly, died at Weatherwood on Wednesday, July 4th, 2007. Services were private and were held at the convenience of the family.
